View my full resumé by clicking the LinkedIn button below.In summary, I have an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University and B.A. in English with a Technical Writing emphasis and a minor in Marketing from Missouri Southern State University.I began my professional career as an editor for Pitsco Education - a very cool company, check them out if you haven't already. I was promoted to Marketing Portfolio Coordinator which was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to engage with so many pieces of the company.From there, I went to work for Empire District Electric Company (later bought by Liberty Utilities) as a Communications Specialist. Among other responsibilities, I created and edited the monthly customer newsletter. I was promoted to Program Manager and again greatly enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with and get to know so many great people within the company.
